About
Mr Cloke trained in the Northern Deanery and Fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery (Sheffield).
His specialist interests include Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the shoulder for rotator cuff problems, instability and frozen shoulder. He has experience in all surgical options for treatment of arthritis of the shoulder including total shoulder replacement and reverse replacement. In addition he has experience in total elbow replacement for arthritis. He was Northern Region Orthopaedic Trainer of the year 2014.

- He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, previously on the Education committee.
- He is a senior examiner for trainees at the end of their training (FRCS) and sits on the national Specialty Advisory Committee for training. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
- He is a member of the Orthopaedic Device Evaluation Panel (ODEP) which rates the safety and reliability of shoulder and elbow joint replacements.
- He was a member of the Army Reserve for 19 years including operational deployment.
