Self Pay
- If you are self-funding you are able to be seen by a consultant without a GP referral, although a letter is often preferred.
- The initial consultation and any diagnostic tests and scans you have are charged separately.
- If a procedure is required, we will ask for payment prior to admission.
- We accept payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer.
- The consultant will update your GP on your progress.

Private Medical Insurance
- You will need to contact your insurance provider to make sure you are covered for your appointment once you have chosen your consultant and you will be given a unique authorisation number.
- You will need to provide the private patient team with your membership number and authorisation for treatment.
- Please note – It is possible that you may have an excess on your policy or some charges that may not be settled by your insurer or third party.
