How to Make an Appointment

It is now easier than ever to access private healthcare, whether you are paying for yourself or using private medical insurance. We want to make the process as easy as possible for you.  Please contact us for more information.

Self Pay

  • If you are self-funding you are able to be seen by a consultant without a GP referral, although a letter is often preferred.
  • The initial consultation and any diagnostic tests and scans you have are charged separately.
  • If a procedure is required, we will ask for payment prior to admission.
  • We accept payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer.
  • The consultant will update your GP on your progress.

Private Medical Insurance

  • You will need to contact your insurance provider to make sure you are covered for your appointment once you have chosen your consultant and you will be given a unique authorisation number.
  • You will need to provide the private patient team with your membership number and authorisation for treatment.
  • Please note – It is possible that you may have an excess on your policy or some charges that may not be settled by your insurer or third party.
  • The consultant will update your GP on your progress.
