I cannot recommend Scott enough. I went to see Scott regarding various ear issues I was having and he instantly knew what it was. After a quick check of my ears to confirm, he informed me what my issue was and that I didn’t need to the treatment I was booked in for but what I could do to help the issues. I had surgery in day surgery ward 15 Wansbeck Hospital today 27/07/26
From my arrival the care from all the staff I encountered was excellent friendly caring knowledgeable staff.
I used to work as a registered nurse and have worked over many years in different departments seeing good and bad care.
Being a patient this time was very different I was very anxious especially about the anaesthetic.
Theatre staff ward staff doctors and my anaesthetist were kind and reassuring I am very grateful and appreciate your outstanding care .

I could barely hear out of left ear. I used ear drops for two weeks and nothing was working. Came to see Scott, and withing 20 mins both ears were cleared. Brilliant service, I fully recommend seeing Scott if you have blocked ears. Micro suction is safe, and painless.

I would like to thank you and the operating theatre team and anaesthetist Chris Coe for the care I received during my recent hip replacement operation on the 23 June. I enjoyed Chris’ running commentary on the progress of the operation.
I am making a very good recovery with minimum discomfort, no medication and am able to walk for 30 minutes without any problem.
I would also like to thank the private patient team for their organisation and especially your secretary Joanne for all her help and guidance.

Arriving on Ward 10 at the Wansbeck for a hip replacement, I was somewhat anxious. I needn’t have been as I was greeted with happy faces and lots of kind attention. Huge thanks to Mr. Carluke and his team; I managed to walk twice round the block on day 5, post op! All the staff on the ward were helpful and nothing was too much trouble; I couldn’t have asked for better treatment.

All the staff I engaged with were excellent, kind, caring and compassionate. Especially as I was exceptionally anxious and nervous and they put my mind at ease.
I’ve been on crutches for several months now beforehand, so I was amazed when the physio sent me away with just walking sticks and challenged me to just use one stick by today day 2 – which I have achieved! Unbelievable!
Mr Carluke and Mr Fortune were amazing, incredibly professional and caring in equal measure, as were all the staff.

From the moment I contacted you the procedure was made very clear and within a very short period of time I was offered an appointment at the Wansbeck General Hospital with a Consultant – Mr A Malviya. This consultation has resulted in me being given a date for surgery.
I cannot emphasise enough just how helpful, professional and reassuring Lynn was, she is an absolute credit to your company.
Although I am in trepidation of the forthcoming surgery, I am at the same time relieved that the prospect of at least a 9-month to 1-year wait has been avoided.

After 12 years of visiting my Osteopath he put me in touch with Mr Jensen and after a MRI scan we decided an operation was the best option. I was at Hexham General, The Nuffield, North Tyneside and at Wansbeck for the operation and I have to say my treatment from every person in every hospital was exceptional. One of the most important people in the whole process for me was Mr Jensen’s secretary Katie who was amazing even when I made a massive error in an appointment she managed to swing things so they would still see me on the day which was beyond the call of duty.
Mr Jensen team of surgeons were also amazing making sure I was at ease at all times in the operating theatre.
The main man Mr Jensen himself couldn’t have been more helpful pre-op & post-op and the actual operation has been lifechanging I have had no pain at all in my leg since the operation and I’m walking better, standing straighter and so much happier in myself since I had it done. Massive thankyou to everyone involved.
