About
Mr Inman is the trauma lead for North Tyneside and teaches on nationally recognised hip and knee replacement training courses and trauma surgery courses for trainee orthopaedic surgeons. He has special interests in lower limb (hip and knee) arthroplasty (joint replacement surgery), knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), knee realignment osteotomy for treatment of knee arthritis in young adults, complex extremity trauma (fracture) surgery including treatment of mal-unions and non-unions with circular frame management (fractures that haven’t healed with resultant ongoing pain or that have healed in an abnormal position affecting function).
He has worked as a consultant at Northumbria since 2010. He studied medicine at Bristol University and moved to the North East in 2001, undertaking higher surgical training in orthopaedics before embarking on fellowships in Edinburgh and Grenoble, France.
